Bedroom Lamps on a Budget for Softer Night Lighting

Bedroom lighting is where budget pieces can make a room feel kinder. I want the light to be useful for reading, but soft enough that the room knows the day is over. When I say a piece is budget-friendly, I want it to mean more than cheap. For lighting, my current good-deal target is about $55.00. I am looking for the kind of Amazon find that can solve a room problem without making the rest of the room feel underfunded.

How I would use the piece

I would choose the item that solves the room problem first, then let color and style make the decision. If it does not solve a room problem, I do not care how cute it is. A low price only matters if the piece helps the room feel more finished, more comfortable, or easier to live with.
